Pilates & Exercise Classes in Dublin City Centre

Although the principles remain constant through all forms of Pilates, it is a diverse form of exercise in that the level of exercise intensity can be adapted to suit different groups (men and women) from the young to the young at heart, and from beginners through to intermediate and advanced levels for sports people ensuring a fitness workout for your core. Natural progression between groups is facilitated at Physiofusion by providing the different classes under one roof. Our classes are limited to a maximum of 7 people per class to ensure individualised attention while doing your pilates exercises.

What you can expect in a PhysioFusion Pilates Class..
Warm up…….
Each pilates class begins with a comprehensive warmup, consisting of a wide range of stretches for both the spine and all major muscle groups, in a manner which is safe for our clients, and helps to prepare the muscles and joints for the core strength exercise ahead.
Control……
We then focus on pelvic positioning and deep muscle or ‘core’ activation, as we start the control section of the class. From our experiences in speaking with clients who have attended pilates classes in the past, we found that this is the stage where many people become a little ‘lost’ with pilates, and so we take time to ensure that everyone masters the basics before proceeding to ‘the burn’..
The Burn…..!
We take the time, particularly during the beginners pilates classes to ensure that everyone is ‘on-board’, and is happy with their understanding and technique before advancing to the more challenging exercises – where you will feel ‘the burn’. In our experience, even clients with a history of back problems can perform high level exercises once they are suitably monitored and guided by a physiotherapist.
The Cool down …
The session is completed with exercises to facilitate a cool down period.
