One To One Pregnancy Pilates
At PhysioFusion, we understand that no two pregnant ladies, and no two pregnancies are the same! Also, it can be difficult for work or lifestyle reasons to attend a weekly course at a set time. As a result, we also offer individual Pregnancy Pilates on a one-to-one basis. This includes an initial assessment followed by a program of pilates exercises that are specific to your requirements.
Our experienced physiotherapists (who are also pilates instructors) can advise you on selecting exercises which are effective in:
1. Strengthening your pelvic floor, core, postural and trunk muscles
2. Releasing the muscles of your upper back to minimise discomfort from rib flare
3. Reducing discomfort/pain from lower back, hip and pelvic girdle pain
4. Minimising the risk of your symptoms progressing during the final trimester
5. Increasing your awareness of the physical changes your body undergoes during pregnancy
6. Helping you to gain some ‘pregnancy fitness’ and ‘fitness for labour’.
The cost for a one-to-one pregnancy pilates session is €65 per session. Each session is 45 minutes.
