*** FULLY BOOKED - PLEASE CONTACT US TO JOIN THE WAITING LIST***
Osteoporosis Exercise classes are run on Wednesday mornings at 11 am, under the care of our experienced physiotherapist Eva Flunkert.
These classes are designed by our physiotherapists to improve balance, reduce the risk of falls, improve confidence in movement in day to day life, improve core strength, hip strength, back and arm strength, and to overall guard against the effects of low bone density on the musculoskeletal system.

There is no charge for this assessment, as it allows us to ensure you will be exercising at an appropriate level and in a safe environment.
Exercises take place under the supervision of a Chartered Physiotherapist, who holds advanced certification as Fracture Prevention Practitioners from the UK Royal Osteoporosis Society.
The class involves a combination of focussed exercises including balance, weight-bearing exercises, and Pilates.
We take full COVID precautions at the clinic, with social distancing in our spacious studio, and full hygiene protocol in place. You are welcome to stay and join the group for a coffee and biscuit following your class.
The cost of a 4 week term is €80.
One-to-one Osteoporosis classes are also available if you would like a more personal consultation and assessment. The physiotherapist will carry out a detailed assessment of your health, mobility and balance to see how these factors are affecting your ability to be physically active. Your consultation is likely to include a range of exercises or activities that can be done at home and if you have already broken a bone we will give you advice on pain relief, mobility and posture. Our one-to-one sessions are €65.
