Running & Triathlon Injuries

 

Our physiotherapists themselves participate in these multisport events and bring this experience to the treatment room.  We understand the physiological and psychological impact of preparing for a race and the frustration that running injuries may bring.

 

How We Can Help

 

With such a full sporting calendar year in the multisport and other categories it is important to prepare well for the year. At Physiofusion we can help you achieve this by:

♦ Pre-training screening to identify risk factors for injury

♦ A thorough assessment of your injury or guidance to help minimise risk of injury

♦ Biomechanical assessment including advice on footwear

♦ Comprehensive treatment if an injury occurs

♦ We will liase with your running/swimming coach/personal trainer

♦ Speedy onward referral to sports medicine physicians for scans etc if required

♦ Pre-event modification of training schedule if you have incurred an injury

♦ Identification of training errors to prevent recurrence

♦ End stage rehabilitation programmes for return to sport

♦ Advice re: taping, braces etc for return to sport

Physiotherapy appointments are available between 8am and 8pm Monday -Thursday.

Fridays between 8am and 4pm

 

Reception hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
